Raleigh's Favorite "Farm-ily"
High Country Firs is a local small business dedicated to providing sustainably harvested Christmas trees to the discerning customer.
HCF was started by Keith Chesnutt in 2011 who started selling Christmas trees to fund his education at NC State University.
High Country Firs prides itself in selling high quality, dense, healthy Fraser Fir Christmas Trees (a.k.a. the Cadillac of Christmas trees), as well as wreaths, garland, and customized holiday home décor.
The trees are grown by our partner grower in the Appalachian mountains using low spray pesticide techniques (Integrated Pest Management) to minimize eutrophication and pollution. Our trees are hand-pruned and intentionally harvested, ensuring the trees are lush and fresh. The trees are harvested less than a week before Thanksgiving to ensure a fresh tree for every customer.
Learn more about our trees here, or come pick up your tree today at our convenient downtown Raleigh location: behind the Salvation Army at 902 Wake Forest Road (Intersection of Wake Forest and Sasser).
A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.
